Description
These are centrifugal pumps with a single impeller. The impeller, located at the end of the rotor shaft, feeds the water suction bearing, which is machined into the front casing. Water coming from the pump suction port is increased both in pressure and velocity by the vanes within the impeller. The water is forced out through the discharge casing volute. They are used for clean or slightly contaminated, low-viscosity liquids that are free of solid particles and fibers.
