Freva Cooling Towers
In an industrial process or the condenser of a cooling unit, the heated water is conveyed to the cooling tower through pipes. As the water flows through the cooling tower via nozzles, it is exposed to air drawn by an electrically powered fan from the cooling tower. When the water and air meet in the cooling tower, the water cools by transferring heat to the air, with a small portion evaporating, creating a cooling effect. The cooled water is collected in the tower’s cold water basin and sent to the condenser or process equipment. The air, which becomes more humid due to water evaporation (nearing saturation), is expelled into the atmosphere with the help of fans.
