Instead of using gaskets between them for sealing, the plates are soldered to each other. In this way, it creates a low-cost alternative to gaskets that can operate at high pressure and temperature values.

These types, which are produced in the form of plate cassettes consisting of two plates connected to each other by laser welding, are perfectly suited to the tasks in which aggressive fluids against gasket materials are used, since one of the fluids passes between the welded plates and the other between the gasketed plates.

These types, which have specially increased cross-sections through which the fluids will pass between the plates, are used in many industrial heating/cooling and heat recovery applications without the problem of clogging with the fibers and solids contained in the fluid.
