Armaş DCV dry alarm valve is the alarm valve used in the dry sprinkler system and controls the water flow. It is designed for use in areas with a high risk of frost, where the ambient temperature may drop below +4°C. Compressed air or nitrogen is kept on the valve against the danger of freezing. In the event that the pressure of these gases decreases, the actuator on the valve allows the rammer holding the flap to come loose, and the pressurized water under the valve reaches the sprinkler system. In the meantime, by sounding the gong, the pressure switch ensures that the alarm is transmitted to the system.
